My story
Hi, I’m Kaitlyn Powers!
I’m a Bowenwork Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher, Certified Birth Doula, Athletic Trainer, and Artist. But I didn’t always live in alignment with my purpose—this path unfolded through years of deep healing, surrender, and rediscovery.
From a young age, my body was speaking to me—but I didn’t know how to listen. As a competitive gymnast, I learned discipline and resilience, but also how to push through pain. Chronic knee issues, gut imbalances, fatigue, and anxiety became constant companions, always in and out of the hospital for injury or illness. In sixth grade I was then diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Still, I pushed on—seeking worth through achievement and perfection until my body finally said “enough.” Stress fractures in my spine and a broken foot ended my gymnastics career, forcing me to pause for the first time.
That pause became the beginning of everything.
It was the seed of my healing journey.
Those experiences inspired me to study Athletic Training at Keene State College, where I graduated in 2018. I went on to work as an athletic trainer, helping others recover physically—but deep down, I knew something was missing.
I was working as a high school athletic trainer for a couple years then came my breaking point. In February 2020, one of my students experienced a life-changing injury that left them paralyzed. As the first responder, I was profoundly impacted. It was a moment of awakening. I realized my calling wasn’t to treat injuries after they happened—it was to help people prevent, heal, and transform at the root.
When COVID hit shortly after, I lost my job—and gained divine redirection.
It was my initiation into a completely new way of living.
Finally sitting with the years of survival mode, birth control, body shame, disordered eating, codependency and suppressed trauma that had left me feeling numb. But through that stillness, I began to listen. Thats when Bowen Therapy landed in my lap—a modality that instantly felt like a soul calling. Without ever receiving a session, I enrolled in training, and it changed my life.
Through Bowen, my body began to heal on every level. My Celiac symptoms softened, emotional wounds surfaced and released, and I reconnected with my intuition in a way I never had before. Bowen Therapy became the foundation of my practice—it taught me the power of gentleness, nervous system regulation, and alchemy that happens within the bodies.
As my healing deepened, I was guided toward community, plant medicine, and deepening my intuitive energy work. I began to remember who I was beneath the layers of conditioning—to reconnect with my inner child, my body, and the wisdom within.
When I finished my Bowen training, I manifested a job at a holistic nutrition office while continuing my education. Then one day, I felt the nudge to leap again. I quit my job, followed my dreams, and built my own healing practice from the ground up.
For the past five years, I’ve guided hundreds of women through deep transformation—helping them reconnect with their bodies, release stored trauma, and awaken their divine feminine energy. I began hosting retreats and healing events, creating sacred spaces for women to gather, heal, and remember who they are.
As my work evolved, I felt a strong pull toward the womb—the missing piece in my own healing. After 11 years on birth control, I had lost touch with my natural cycle and feminine rhythm. Over the past few years, I’ve been devoted to healing my womb lineage, balancing my hormones, and embracing cyclical living. That process transformed everything—and inspired me to help other women do the same.
Now, I guide women through their own unraveling—releasing trauma, reclaiming self-love, and reconnecting with their feminine essence. My path has also led me to birth work, where I support women through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum as a doula. Holding space for women in these sacred portals has been one of the deepest honors of my life.
This journey has shown me that the body is always speaking—through whispers, sensations, and symptoms. My purpose is to help you remember how to listen—to return home to yourself and embody your most radiant, powerful, and liberated expression.
Thank you for being here to witness my story.
I’m so honored to walk beside you on this path of healing and remembrance.
xoxo,
Kaitlyn
